Family Vacation Planning.
Family vacation planning can be a fun and exciting time. However when family vacation planning, packing can become a very involved process that is not always enjoyable. When gathering your clothes, toiletries, and other necessities need some forethought and careful planning. Below are some tips that can help you while packing for your family vacation planning for the beach.

Even though bathing suits are a must, sometimes a sweatshirt may be needed for a cool evening. And even possibly a rain coat for those occasional beach thunderstorms that can pop up out of nowhere during your family vacation.
List of Activities
Make your list of all the activities that you would like to enjoy on your vacation. If fishing or hiking or even going out to a special dinner event is part of your agenda, remember to bring any special clothing or equipment you make need.
Make a list for all the family as well. Start making your list a couple weeks before you leave so you can add items that may come to mind at the last minute.
Organize
Organize on paper the wardrobe needed, itemizing everything including underwear and sleep wear. Be specific about apparel, short black skirt, yellow sun hat, etc.
Review each day’s wardrobe needs and start to consolidate daily. Arrange for clothing items to do double and triple duty to reduce packing.
Beach Attire
Beach clothing should consist of sandals, flip-flops or water shoes, hats and/or baseball caps, swimwear and swim trunks and beach cover-ups. Swimwear with UV protection is recommended for infants and toddlers. A sarong is also a good idea as it can couple as a skirt, dress, shawl, beach towel, top sheet and a tablecloth.
Shoes are always tricky as they can sometimes be heavy and bulky to bring. Try to limit yourself to three pairs, a pair for walking extended distances, a pair of sandals or flip-flops and a dresser pair for evening.
Toiletries
Make a list of toiletry items you use every day and refer to the list when you pack your suitcase. You should include a toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash or soap, shaving cream, razors, deodorant, makeup, hair brush, hair spray, sunscreen and anything else you need on vacation.
Identification
Make sure you know what kind of identification is required. Your driver license should be sufficient in most cases if your destination is domestic. It’s a good idea to travel with some cash in case of an emergency.
Emergency Items
No matter where you are vacationing it is a good idea to have first aid supplies with you at all times. Get travel-size versions of antibacterial ointments, sterile bandages, sunscreen, motion sickness medication and gauge to carry with you in case of emergency.
